  • Cuyahoga Valley - in conjunction with Akron University, a performance of John Luther Adams' "Strange and Sacred Noise" and "The Mathematics of Resonant Bodies." In addition, there will be a presentation on electroacoustic music and percussion.
  • Performances at Bang on a Can marathon and June in Buffalo.
  • Forest A concert of John Luther Adams' 'Strange and Sacred Noise' in the forest of New Hampshire. Sept. 30th, 2006 - ~2:30pm, North Sandwich, NH. This project is similar to Desert. This project explores the connection between environment, landscape and performance.

    Cristyn Magnus game piece for percussion and computer, TWO PLAYER VERSON!
  • Bone Alphabet learning application
    NEW VERSION. The "Bone Alphabet" learning application programmed in Pd (pure-data software). This pedagogical tool is meant to be used a companion to learning the complex rhythmical structures of Brian Ferenyhough. Each of the seven instruments of "Bone Alphabet" will be attached to a pickup mic and the acoustic data recieved will be recorded by the program and displayed on a console and can be compared with a sequenced version of the actual passage played.   • Rhythm Creature
    ...you can see one for yourself in the banner of this site. These 'creatures' will be featured in a flash animation strip and will be amusing commentary on the harsh vacuity of contemporary music and art. 1st one 'screened' at UCSD by discerning adults that resulted in insouciant laughter and unbridled passionate roars.
